These neon weekender trousers are what I’m all about right now!
I have to say, I never thought these would be easy to wear but boy was I wrong. Not only are they easy to pair with basics (no-brainer there), they are also very comfie! In love with them and I got this pair on sale = YESSSS ^^
I am very tempted to get more of such similar trousers, BKK anyone…?
Some infinities are bigger than other infinities. Like, you know, my limitless love for shoes 😉 Okay bad example forgive me, but ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ came out a while ago (or a long time ago now? I’ve lost track of time) but I haven’t watched it yet. Still, that phrase sticks…
Now buying shoes online has always been a big “no-no” to me. I can’t bring myself to spend on a size that might not even fit! So, it’s absolute joy when I find a brand that’s got an online store and a physical store: what you do is try the size at the store and then buy it online! I know it seems pointless then since you’ll have to actually leave the house and head to the store, but I use this ‘trick’ most when the shoes are on sale online (shh, I’ll do anything for a bargain!) ^^
So it’s already pretty long into Spring/Summer 2014 but here I am to give a round up of my top 4 street and runway trends I’m really into this season 🙂
Trends have to be wearable — that’s one big criteria for me when I try out a new style. Sometimes it’s great to go on the wild (and I mean really wild) side, but most times we just want fuss-free, clean and classic looks that keep us on-trend and looking ever so put-together.
All that just reminds me of Jeannie Mai; have I mentioned how much I fangirl her? That aside, let’s see where else I get my inspiration from…
Yesterday was a great day to be out. Finally, no summer rain but glorious sunshine.
Since K’s back from Gold Coast, we made a date to catch Batman: The Dark Knight Rises and to spend an afternoon gallivanting downtown in search of a “birthday suit” (take it literally) for my 21st party just a month and a half away!
Excited to wear my new studded LBD (loot from a flea market scavenging on Sunday), I paired it with my red booties for a day out walkin’ 🙂
Everyone deserves a second chance. Me included, on this dessert.
I tried it once before but failed — and that failure was also what pushed me to give up on my oven at home for my grandmother’s awesome one as well. And, as you can see, something good always comes out of a bad situation.
Thank the Lord, I finally know why this is called Lemon Delicious.
As mentioned in my recent food post, summer can get too warm for baking. Today I am here to contradict myself; the weather in Singapore is just that unpredictable anyway. Just like how it’s been raining the past two days. Heavy, continuous rain. In the middle of summer. Surprise, surprise.
So, my oven’s been pretty lonely for a while now. I decided to turn the heat up again, with something really classic and simple: the pound cake.
I apologize for the poorly taken shot. Believe me though, this could very well become your next comfort food.
K’s holidaying in Australia this whole week, and before he left I made him some treats to enjoy. Not by any coincidence then that these are made with sweet strawberries and have a little heart-shape in each piece. Adorable, huh? 🙂
I’ve been in a total summer mood lately; it’s sometimes too warm for using the oven. Laziness takes over and yes, no-bake desserts are the way to go!
